How does data import work?
Combeenation provides an Asset Manager specifically designed to manage your product information and resources from your PIM system.
Within the Asset Manager, you can create various asset bundles. An asset bundle is a collection of resources, ranging from simple elements like images and text to more complex datasets such as exports of your shop products, price lists, and product descriptions.
How is the data linked with the logic?
In the Editor, data is linked with logic. The Editor serves as the primary starting point for building your configurator. It allows you to design the user interface and define the complete product logic.
To access product data within the Editor, you can connect your configurator to one or more asset bundles. A key advantage of this approach—which separates logic from product data—is that you can use the same asset bundle across multiple configurators without duplicating the data.
Is data updated 24/7?
In addition to manual updates, Combeenation offers a powerful feature called Workflows, which enables regular, automated data updates.
One of the key advantages of Workflows is the ability to schedule them using a CRON-based system. This allows you to set up time-controlled tasks that run at specific intervals. These workflows can then automatically update the relevant data sources within your asset bundles.
